- Accumulator
- A single bet that combines two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap that splits the line into two parts, giving the underdog a virtual head start and removing the draw outcome.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting.
- Bookmaker
- A company that sets odds and accepts bets on sporting events.
- Both Teams To Score
- A bet on whether each team will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle your bet before the match ends, locking in a profit or cutting a loss.
- Decimal Odds
- A way of showing odds as a single number, like 2.50, which includes your stake in the total payout.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes of a match, increasing your chance of winning.
- European Handicap
- A handicap that gives one team a whole‑number advantage, while still allowing the draw as a possible outcome.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds shown as a fraction, such as 5/1, meaning you win five units for every one unit you stake.
- In-Play
- Bets placed while a match is already happening, with odds that change as the game progresses.
- Margin
- The bookmaker’s built‑in profit margin, expressed as a percentage, which reduces the odds they offer.
- Moneyline Odds
- Odds that show how much you must bet to win 100 units (or the amount you win if you bet 100 units), used mainly in US sports.
- Odds
- The number that tells you how much you can win for each unit you bet, based on the chance of an outcome happening.
- Odds Format
